Classes are held on a Monday evening at Amersham Common Village Hall. Download 2012 Timetable

There are classes for dog obedience training at all levels including Puppy Socialisation
and initial training tips with a 10 week Beginners' course at 6 months
and classes up to a competition standard.

SHOULD I ATTEND A TRAINING CLASS?

Both dog and owner benefit from the bonding and fun that training encourages and all the family can contribute to a happy, well behaved 4-legged companion.

Joining fee £5 + £5 annual subscription
Training is £2.50 per night - except for the course which is £25 paid in advance at enrolment.
A 5-week second-half repeat Basic Obedience Course is £12.50

We would like you to come and watch a class without your dog and enrol afterwards. We need to see a current innoculation certificate before the dog comes into the hall - preferably on enrolment **

The Basic Obedience Course endeavours to have a well controlled and socially acceptable dog, able to walk to heel, come when called, and stay in place for a short time at sit and down positions.

There is an assessment at the end of the course and a Certificate if completed satisfactorily! Half courses are available if further training is required.
